The Alfa Romeo GTV (code name 916) is a sports car with a coupé body style produced by the Italian automaker Alfa Romeo from 1995 to 2004.
The name GTV is an acronym for Gran Turismo Veloce, and it is also called the "GTV 916" (from the same project number) to distinguish it from its predecessors of the same name. It was designed by Enrico Fumia for the Pininfarina design center.
Over the course of approximately 10 years of production, it underwent three restylings. It was replaced towards the end of 2005 by the Brera.
The engines available over the years since its release were: 1.8 Twin Spark, 2.0 Twin Spark, 2.0 JTS, 3.0 V6 12v (Spider only), 2.0 V6 Turbo, 3.0 V6 24v, and 3.2 V6 24v. Power outputs range from 144 to 240 horsepower.
