Rental Conditions

Prices include:

  • self-drive rental;
  • half day rental – 5 hours: pick up from 9 am or drop off until 7 pm at Slow Drive office.
  • one or more rental days: pick up from 9 am or drop off until 7 pm at Slow Drive office;
  • For delays, there is a penalty of € 50.00 after the first 30 minutes, for delays over 1 hour, the penalty is one day rental charge, according to the price list.
  • Mechanical assistance service (not following) included within 150 km from our office. In case of impossibility to repair the vehicle, a replacement car will be provided; if a replacement car is not available, full or partial refund is expected in proportion to the hours of rental used.
  • insurance coverage (civil liability);
  • Kilometers of driving included: 100 km for the half day rate or 150 km per day according to the duration of rental; penalty for overpassing Kilometers of €1.00+vat/km  
  • maps and suggested tour
  • 22% vat.

 

Prices do not include:

  • extra insurance coverage (kasko) to cover damages caused by the customer and any acts of vandalism with a deductible of 20% of the damage and minimum uncovered € 500.00+vat.
  • fuel consumption – if not included the car will be delivered with full tank and is kindly requested to return it with full tank:   penalty € 20 in addition to fuel consumption.
  • tolls, parking and fines;
  • Pick up and drop off service in a different place with an additional cost of: € 1.50 + iva per km (round trip/ minimum price € 50.00 per service – could change according to availability and transportation company)
  • Slow Drive Gift Box shipment, with a 24 month validity voucher, driving leather gloves and women's 60s sunglasses: € 30.00;
  • representative car model 1:43 – on availability - € 30.00.

 

Driver requirements:

  • at least 23 years old,
  • 5 years of driving license
  •  credit card as guarantee (Visa and Mastercard); in case of lack of credit card, is required compulsory subscription of the FULL insurance and security deposit of € 500.00 upon delivery of the car, which will be returned at the end of the rental in the absence of damages.

Cancellation policy:

  • full refund of the amount paid (less commission fee of the payment method chosen) for cancellations at least 30 days in advance from rental date; for cancellations within 30 days from the rental date, a voucher for an amount equal to the amount paid is issued with unlimited expiry. Penalty of 50% of the total amount for cancellation within 7 days from the rental date (in case of bad weather it is always possible to change dates).
