This is a perfect tour for food and wine lovers, we will start driving aboard our vintage spider car discovering the flavors of the Italian tradition, visiting wineries, castles and medieval villages.
We start from Turin driving classic car on direction of the Langhe, meeting along the way the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi, the best preserved Savoy's residence.
Continuing on south direction, we should stop and visit the Racconigi Castle, which has all the charm of the noble villas of Savoys period.
The Langhe were once a very disputed land, divided into small villages that were fighting each other for a long time and for that there are a large number of medieval castles, towers and small forts still on site. It recently been proposed to include the Langhe, together with that of Monferrato and Roero lands, on the list of World Heritage Sites.
Alba and Barolo are the two villages that are considered the heart of this gorgeous territory, The Langhe.
Barolo is an old marvelous village with narrow streets, vintage shops and a large number of wineries and wine bar, a place of gastronomic paradise. Next to the Castel, that deserve with no doubt a visit, we can spend some time to The Corkscrew Museum and enjoy a wine tasting just after visiting it. From the towers of the castle we can enjoy stunning views of the hills and vineyards, among the most famous in the world.
