The tour concentrates on the Verona and Valpolicella areas to east of Lake Garda.
Starting in Peschiera which boasts incredibly well preserved city walls and internal harbour and continues toward Lazise heading east, you may fancy a stop in the thermal lake available to the public at Colá di Lazise. The castle and medieval walls of Lazise are also well worth seeing.
Your next stop could be Bardolino and its intimate little ‘piazze’ town squares, What better setting to stop and taste some authentic Bardolino wine, moving north next toward the ancient town of Garda which gives its name to the lake. Now that you are here don’t miss the Torri Del Benaco and the Scaligero castle with its medieval church just a little further on. End the day in Valpolicella, this place is ideal for the ‘Vintage Car Driver’, spend a few hours amid its glorious vineyards and savour life, not just wine.
