This is a route that go through smooth hills strewn with castles, wineyards, places full of art and natural beauties. We suggest to spend the first day in Franciacorta and visit some of its most characteristic places, such as the Rodengo Saiano Abbey with its wonderful frescoes and cloisters, the castles in Passirano and Bornato perfectly preserved or the monastery of "S. Pietro in Lamosa" in Provaglio D'Iseo.
It would be possible also to taste the very famous wines that take its name from this particular zone and have a walk to one of its most moving and hidden spot, for example the little church Santa Maria Del Corno on the top of a hill where you could enjoy a wonderful sight of the lake, or the Fall near Monticelli Brusati.
Then it would be possible to get closer to the lake, to visit the historical centre of Iseo with the "Casa Quadra", the Olofredi's mausoleum and have a romantic dinner next to the shore.
The night could be spend near the lake or in a farm holiday in the interland. On the second day we suggest to run along the lake starting from Montisola, its island, that is the biggest one in Europe, wellknown for the ability of its fisher in weaving the fishing webs.
Then it would be interesting to go to Zone, in the hinterland and visit its rocky Pyramids, a very particular geological phenomenon.
The route will be completed only by going to North towards Lovere and its medieval monuments and making the whole revolution of the lake.
